  • Time to brush the dust off of my xanga and write in it

Tahoe was amazing. I decided to try skiing instead snowboarding. Totally worth it. It's like being on skates going really fast down a hill. We hit up Northstar on friday morning and night skiing at Squall saturday. We stayed at a tricked out cabin that had a sauna, jacuzzi and a hot tub, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 16 people. What we lacked in food was made up with the cases of beer that lined the top shelf of the fridge. I mostly stuck with orange juice, though I took a shot of vodka and patron and a few sips of nasty tasting red wine. Pics will go up later.

I also have a new computer that I picked up around Christmas. Makes playing TF2 look like a pixar movie.

Spike came back from the grave. Apparently she's spent the past 15 months living in the neighbor's front lawn, and the cul-de-sac next to ours. I heard that some of the neighbors tried to feed it, bought cages (but eventually decided to let it live in the wild) and named it flower :-p Once we repair the fence that the storm knocked down, we'll most likely try to bring it back home.

I'm also fairly broke. I need to find work, so if anyone knows of any job openings, let me know.

  • I've been in UCSC for the past 2 days, and here are some of the more interesting things I've experienced;

Waking up in Ben's car realizing we're driving in the middle of the road on a really curvy path going really fast IN THE FOG!!!

UCSC is in the middle of a forest. Complete with all the hills. It's really really spread out. That, and it's pretty cold here. It's as if someone took a map of the area, randomly pointed, and they built a single building at that spot.

    I'll add more later

  • Man, so much has changed since I last posted. Currently I'm on an involuntary early summer break, and I will need summer school to finish my 22 units to get out of UCD. It took me a while to get used to the feeling, but I'm feeling less conflicted now.

Short story, lets play! Hit me up and lets hang out

Last night's AACF's praise and prayer was really good, and fugitive was quite fun.

Congrats to Kristina and Jason (who never reads this) on your graduations.

  • I've been growing spiritually a lot this quarter. I think I've finally just begun to see God in the proper perspective. It's exciting. (yay for 2.5 word sentences) I'm praying a lot now, reading my bible a little more, and these things don't feel forced, awkward or obligatory. Exciting times.

  • Many men will drink the rain
And turn to thank the clouds
Many men will hear You speak
But they will never turn around

I will not forget You are my God, my King
And with a thankful heart I bring my offering
And my sacrifice is not what You can give
But what I alone can give to you

A grateful heart I give, A thankful prayer I pray,
A wild dance I dance before you
A loud song I sing, A huge bell I ring,
A life of praise I live before You

Many men will pour their gold
And serve a thing that shines
Many men will read your words
But they will never change their minds

  • I went snowboarding for the first time yesterday. Well, it was more like snow-falling. I still havn't really learned how to stop, or to control my board, so it's more like a go down the hill....FALL! It was still a lot of fun, but I'm trying skiing next time. I heard it's easier, and there's less falling.

I had a pretty bad fall yesterday. I was going really fast, suddenly I lost control, flipped over. I landed with my fist on the ground, my elbow pointing towards my body, and I ELBOWED myself in the stomach. I believe I also hit my head as well, as the first thought I had was "my head feels like its on fire". My second thought was "I hope I didn't lose any teeth". And then my third and most powerful thought was "OMG OMG OMG MY STOMACH HURTS!!!!" Seriously, never been hurt that badly in years. I still got up and went down one more time, but I was really scared, so I mostly just sat on my butt and kinda sled myself down.

Christmas was decent. I got very thoughtful gifts, but my family lost the idea that Christmas was supposed to be "Merry"

About Me

  • There is no escaping reason, no denying purpose, because as we both no, without purpose, we would not exist. It is purpose that created us, purpose that connects us, purpose that pulls us, that guides us, that drives us, it is purpose that DEFINES us, purpose that binds us. Purpose is the reason we are here!
